The Plated Project was envisioned with a simple idea - use art to end global hunger. How do we do it?
Each month we focus our content on a theme that revolves around a social issue linked to hunger. We join forces with talented artists from around the world to create limited edition, art-infused products. Each of these tell unique stories to spark conversations that lead to awareness.
The sale of each item also contributes a minimum of 10 meals for the social cause.
THE STORY BEHIND THE ART:
Eerie dawn. Unfriendly mist. Towering giants disguised as trees. My subconscious had picked up something was screaming at me to listen. If I had continued walking at the same pace, I would have been in her path. In the Queen’s path. In a second, she had moved on. Disappeared into the mist’s open arms. That half a minute with the Queen was all I needed. All the strength I needed.
